স্কুল ও বাড়ি ধ্বংস

শেখ রাদওয়ান এলাকায়, স্থানান্তরিত মানুষরা যেসব স্কুলে আশ্রয় নিয়েছিলেন, সেখানে ইসরায়েলি গ্রেনেডের আগুন লেগেছে। স্থানীয় বাসিন্দা জাকিয়া সামি বলেন:

হামাসের যুদ্ধবিরতি ও বন্দি বিনিময় প্রস্তাব

বুধবার হামাস ঘোষণা করেছে যে, তারা সমস্ত ফিলিস্তিনি ও ইসরায়েলি বন্দি মুক্তির বিনিময়ে সম্পূর্ণ যুদ্ধবিরতির জন্য প্রস্তুত। এই ঘোষণাটি এসেছে মার্কিন রাষ্ট্রপতি ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পের মন্তব্যের পর।

Israeli Airstrikes Kill 73 More in Gaza | UN Urged to Intervene

At least 73 Palestinians were killed in Gaza within 24 hours as Israeli airstrikes intensified across Gaza City and nearby areas, according to Al Jazeera on Thursday (September 4, 2025). Of the dead, 43 were from Gaza City alone.

Hamas described the attacks as genocide and appealed to the United Nations and the international community for immediate intervention.

Schools and Homes Destroyed

In the Sheikh Radwan area, Israeli grenades set fire to tents where displaced civilians had taken shelter in schools. Local resident Zakia Sami said:

“Sheikh Radwan is burning. If the assault on Gaza City is not stopped, we will all die. Those who watch silently will never be forgiven.”

Gaza’s media office reported that in the last three weeks, Israel carried out at least 100 robotic explosions that flattened entire residential blocks. Since the offensive began on August 13, nearly 1,100 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza City alone.

Hamas Ready for Ceasefire and Prisoner Exchange

On Wednesday, Hamas announced its readiness for a comprehensive ceasefire in exchange for the release of all Palestinian prisoners and Israeli captives. This statement followed remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, an airstrike on the Al-Jarisi family home in northern Gaza City killed at least 10 civilians. Hamas condemned it as a war crime and part of a systematic campaign to destroy Palestinian life.

Humanitarian Crisis Deepens

The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that due to the blockade preventing aid and food supplies, at least six more people, including a child, died of malnutrition in the last 24 hours. Since the blockade began, 367 Palestinians—131 of them children—have died of hunger.

The UN warned that Israel’s ground operation to seize Gaza City could displace nearly 1 million Palestinians. Between August 14 and 31 alone, 82,000 people were forcibly displaced, with 30,000 pushed from north to south.
